I'm in the Central Time Zone - 2 hours ahead of Pacific time - and our location/time zones are basic information programmers should work with.
But: between midnight and 2 am my time - 10 pm and midnight Pacific time - I generally can't schedule listings for the current day OR prepare shipping labels for the current day. And I've been bugging eBay for well over 2 years on this issue.
For example: Say it's 1 am here - 11 pm Pacific time - and I try to schedule a listing to start at 4 am Pacific time TODAY. The system tells me I can't do that because the date and time are IN THE PAST.
OR I go to print a shipping label for an item to mail TODAY. The system offers shipping dates of YESTERDAY or TOMORROW.
Really, I wish the programmers would stop introducing "improvements" until they can correctly manage the BASICS!

So schedule your listing for 4am TOMORROW. Problem solved.
Ebay has been using exclusively pacific time since day one. I doubt they are going to change. Better get used to it.

No offense, but I don't think you understand the issue. 😀
