Time Delay

I’m now having the sold items that went into the unsold section ring in as sold. They’re not coming in all at once, so there’s a time delay. Hopefully eBay fixed the problem. I still lost profits due to buyers and bidding on auction items. Will eBay compensate us? Prob not...

Re: Time Delay

happened to me several times.  Today, I thought that the item auction already ended but as it turned out, my bid that was within the last 3 seconds, was 51 seconds from closing.  I was pretty sure that I was already declared the winner of the item that I started drafting an email to the seller asking for combined shipping (as the seller offers combined shipping) with another item that I won from the same seller a few days ago.. only to find out a few seconds later that I was outbid by another ebayer with a zero feedback!

Re: Time Delay

as for my case, I found out that for some reason, my computer clock, though set to "set time automatically" was ahead by almost a minute.  too bad, I didn't suspect this when it happened the first time- when I was already celebrating for winning the auction, and then was outbid.  For next time, for big items specially, I'll always set my clock to manually adjust, then set it back to automatically adjust- just to be safe.
