"SPONSORED" listings. Now they're finally showing properly.
Did a lot of testing on that didn't they, lol.

This has been driving me crazy! I'm glad you found the problem, but I don't understand your solution. What do you mean by sponsered listings? Is there a way to turn them off or allow them so they display properly?

Sponsored listings are just (two) paid ads that say "SPONSORED" that appear on every page of your search listings, somewhere in the middle of the listings.
I thought that might have been causing the big blank space in the listings, but it appeared again after I posted my first message.
So either eBay went back to what they were doing before, or something else is causing the empty space.
Whatever it is I wish it would go away, it completely covers up the second and third listings on the page.

I just did a search in completed - 50 per page - and only see ONE item in search results out of 359 results; the rest of the page is totally blank.
My 'normal' browser has RIP installed but I can't do a global Remove It Permanently; I have to do it on every frickin page the blob shows up on. That browser also has graphics disabled and don't want to switch back and forth between when I need graphics vs not. I use not for just reading stuff.
I'm trying to check out the sourcecode for their search results page to see if I can find what it is that way.

The only way I can see the complete search results is to save the web page and then open the html file. No blocking when you do that.
Sometimes I really hate ebay.

I was having the same problem! What I've learned is it was my Adblock Plus! (Firefox) If you go to your 'Filter subscrptions' and uncheck the "Allow some non-intrusive advertising". So hopefully this will solve the problem for at least some of you.

You are in the correct place. This is also under "options" in regular Adblock.
The PROBLEM is to UNCHECK the box.
The SOLUTION is to CHECK the box.
A lot of what is posted in eBay ads is coming from a third-party server. So Adblock must be told to ALLOW NON-INTRUSIVE ADVERTISING.
else all you will see is a big blank space.
