I have been selling since po.03.1999 (21 years) and I have never had anything like this happen
I sold multiple items that ended on Nov. 13. Of those 14 items were jeans that sold to 14 different buyers. I received no notice of a payment for 3 days which is unusual. After looking there 6 people who paid and they all showed pending. This went on for over a week. Buyers showed paid at their end but mine said do not print a label as payment not made. Other items that ended same time that paid were able to pay. I called EBAY and they blamed PAYPAL. I called PAYPAL and they said my account was fine. 3 more days and 14 cases to pay were opened. Again I called EBAY. I was told this time it was probably that I had not set up managed payments,, (WHAT-? other people paid...just not on jeans!!!
Another 2 or 3 days and another call to EBAY who advised to set up managed payments and that should release all those payments. I did and still no resolution. I now have angry buyers who have called EBAY and gotten different answers. I called EBAY again and this time the CSR said it looked like something to do with the jeans categories and she could find no inappropriate wording or anything and said she could defer to IT but usually takes a month-???!!!!
More days went by. Another call and this man was not too friendly and advised it was because I had not set up managed payments and i said no because other items were able to be paid. He said if I would close all 14 cases and request fees back and re-list them all that should fix it. In the meantime the re-list of the auctions that did not sell was over and in that one 3 more pairs sold and other items. Other items paid and 3 pairs of jeans,, same thing stuck in limbo land. What can a seller do to get some resolution here. I have done multiple calls, chat boxes......and the icing on the cake:::My monthly statement had the selling fees on there for all 14 pairs of jeans...Another call to EBAY!!!! AND one lady who paid but Ii's still in limbo...opened a case with a non-paid case on her already opened. I keep getting an email to mail her her item!!!
