Hello,
This is insane!!!
First of all, I'm having a problem with estimated delivery time calculation, which is happening to all my listings and eBay is setting estimated delivery time up to a 30 days. Instead of 4-5 business day delivery estimation.
It's been a while since I have not seen fast and free icon for any of my listings. For this reason I keep losing a lot of potential orders.
Secondly, this problem is happening from early September. I was trying to keep Ebay customer service updated regarding the issue, talked at least 30 different representatives, but the actual result for every of my calls was a promise that technical department would take care of that, which unfortunately never happened.
When I became a top rated seller plus my handling time is 1 business day to all items listed, which is a way less than my competitors, but after my investigation I'm the only seller with so long estimated delivery.
Any help would be really appreciated, possibly someone else had any / same type of issue.

Thank you in advance!
SUMMERY: Handling time is 1 business day to all items listed and USPS First Class or Fed Ex Ground shipping service result is 30 days!

Hi @mta-auto-parts - that definitely sounds frustrating. I'm not able to access your account specifics, but something to check is your Service Metric rating for Item Not Received requests. If it is 'Very High' compared to your peers we will add additional time to all of your buyer-facing delivery estimates. You can read more about that here.
If you are not rated Very High will you let us know and we can keep trying to sort it out!

What if you are being benchmarked against peers who’s % is 0%? A category as large as musical instruments?
How could you ever improve and avoid this time penalty?
Thanks

general reply.................
if you are a trs then thats fine.you are good to go and are beating most others in the rat race
take a deep breath and just say to yourself that estimates mean nothing.I mean they come from ebay so who really cares..I do not care about estimates or tracking.I do not bother cehcking and I am still a TRS.
I have a 2.5 prcent late shipment rate........so what.......how come my stuff is all shipped on time and its all reflected in the dashboard.
I refuse to get all worked up over meaningless stats.if you are a TRS and are selling then you are golden

I am having this same problem! This is what I just posted somewhere else:
I contacted eBay last week about this, but not resolved. If you click on any item that I am selling, it shows an extended delivery time of over 16-20 days.
I noticed on my page of items to ship, the eBay note to "ship buy" is "ship by January 8". This is TOTALLY OFF since I am signed up for FAST and FREE, and all my handling times are 1 day. This has been a problem for the past 3 weeks. It usually was ship by the Friday of that week, so I thought no big deal, until now, because I also noticed eBay taking a BIGGER PERCENTAGE.
They were going to refer my account to IT as I figured it had to be a technical or server problem.
What I think, eBay has a program to extend the handling times so that they can take a bigger cut of my profit.
Is anyone else having this problem?
