I'm trying to print shipping labels & ebay is taking forever to load postage page. Also, takes forever to change shipping weight before printing. Why is it slow to load? I just updated Firefox to new 43.0.2 version. Other sites are quick to load & to navigate.

I wish you would invest in upgrading your system, eBay.

Attempting to print another label today & the system is running even slower than the other day. It takes a few minutes to load postage info.

eBay shows: Waiting for postage.ebay.com then wait, wait, wait for Transferring from postage.ebay.com.

Why does it take so long, eBay and why doesn't anyone from your technical problems dept post to our concerns here on this thread? I wish someone from eBay would come on to acknowledge, deny or address these technical problems. So frustrating to waste time waiting for your site to work. It used to move smoothly & instantly. Again, I cleared all cache, history etc. I have the updated version of Firefox, so what is the problem?

I am having a similar problem. Buyer paid and I am trying to print a shipping label before the mail deadline but am unable to. I have tried chrome and IE, cleared cache, etc. After the page finally loads I am unable to drop down the box next to weight that says "please select". It just sits there and does nothing. I am unable to enter the weight of the package (which for some reason is not already entered) and therefore the cost does not come up and therefore I am unable to print the label.

This is kinda crazy for such a large company to have issues like this. I agree that someone should acknowledge. I can't imagine we are the only two people having this issue. It has been slow for the last couple weeks but this is my first post. Shopping seems nice and fast but feels like the seller functions that are slow.

I just had a thought. Are you using usps? It might be the United States Postal Service infrastructure that is having the problem. Perhaps the ebay servers connect to USPS and they hang up during that process.

Printed some this morn........28th and was slow........this is lst day after the holiday for mailing, so not too surprised at the slowness.......but can't address the dropdown question.......

Having the same issue for the last couple of weeks. Takes forever to get the information filled out and a shipping cost to come up. Makes no difference if it's USPS or Fedex. Once the cost comes up, then printing the label is normal speed. It's just getting to that point that takes 10 times as long as it should.

hi there...i have been having this problem for at least 6-8 weeks...there was a change in the adobe algorithm...here is what i have noticed on a 100% consistent basis:

1. i generally power down at night.

2. i power up in the am and log into ebay.

3. the first order takes about 3-3.5 minutes to load the label into the 450 twin turbo. it prints perfectly...but that first label is painfully slow.

4. the rest of the labels are printed out far more quickly.

so as this is a 100% repeatable issue...i am thinking it has something to do with the checks and balances adobe has with ebay or vice versa.

no clue if this is correct theory, but for me, this is exactly what happens each time. hope this helps others.

Same issue here on Firefox, went to chrome and had no trouble printing.

Have been having this issue from Decemember up until right now as well. I have this problem with FireFox, Chrome, & IE, so the type of browser you use doesn't seem to fix the this. Also, I have cleared all my history/cookies several times and it's still just as slow. On average it takes me 5-10 minutes PER label when it used to take me maybe a minute. This is EXTREMELY annoying and can only hope eBay / USPS take note of this!

Thrifting...........you need to look to your computer as to the problem.......while there are spordic reports of slowness on some browsers, it's not widespread enough to be coming from ebay.....

Check the virus program as to the hold up. Disable it long enough to ONLY try printing a label. Sometimes up dates can create difficulty.

Check out PCcleaner......free......and it's helped me with over all increase in speed.

I am sorry you are having difficulties.....and hate to see you wait for a fix from Ebay that probably will never come......

and if you are using a Mac or phone.........whole different kettle of fish..........

Same here sometimes it is fast and sometimes it is slow. I think it is an ebay problem. they may be using different servers. One slow and one fast. I do not think it is my PC. I use Paypal to print the lables when the wait gets long on ebay. No problem on Paypal.

I agree it might be a server issue. I know it isn't my computer either. I work in IT and would know if it was a local computer issue. I also wonder if some ISPs may be throttling ebay traffic during certain hours or during bandwidth contention. In the mornings is really bad for me using AT&T internet.
