Taking action on open request

When the time has come to get ebay involved with a dispute, after selecting "take action" and "ask us to step in and help", I type in the details and press "ask us to step in".

 

I then get an error page saying "Oops, we had a technical hiccup" and have done for over a day now.

You may want to post on the UK discussion boards in case there is a local component to the issue you are experiencing:

You are registered in the UK, but you are currently signed in to the US ebay.com discussion boards.

 

Are you trying to get eBay to step in on ebay.com or ebay.co.uk?

 

I believe you must use the same site you originally made the purchase on.

ebay help section pointed me here.  I am doing everything through co.uk (via my account homepage).
