For the past couple of days, I've suddenly started having problems getting on eBay's home page from my iPad. Now I've used my iPad with Safari for YEARS with no problems, then suddenly, almost every time. I can still get there SOMETIMES (and to this page) with no problem. But then suddenly I am getting "Pardon our Interruption" page claiming that something about my browser is making eBay think I'm a bot. And none of the three possible reasons apply: I'm not moving at light speed, I don't have JavaScript disabled or any third-party plug-ins of the type mentioned. Help, please! I prefer using eBay in my iPad browser as opposed to the app.

Check to make sure you have the latest available version of your Safari browser, and that nothing is blocking JavaScript.

Not sure about iOS devices, but some Android users ran into that error when using the Android version of the app if the default browser was inadvertently changed to some obscure browser by a software download. Certain eBay links would cause a browser window open, and eBay could not recognize the default browser, generating the error.
It might be worth trying a different browser to see if you get the same error message.
Also a possible issue: an old bookmark causing a redirection loop. A redirection loop that tries to load the same two or three pages over and over in a loop can make you look like a bot. Try using an alternative link to reach eBay, such as this:

If you used your iPad with Safari for years you may have to clear your history and website data.
To do this you need to go into Settings scroll through to find Safari if in the newest version of iOS you'll find Safari in Apps once found scroll til you find as noted below. After you've completed this you will need to log back into eBay.
