Firefox 54 on Windows 7.
When I try to add an item to a collection I get an error like "There was a system error." This was an error the morning of yesterday 8/1 and it's still a problem today. This normally works with all my FF plug ins so it must be on Ebay's end.
Or could Ebay not like my VPN? My VPN was running at home and I got the error, and I'm at work without a VPN and I still get the error.

8 November 2017 and still there is an issue with adding an item to a collection with the same $&%@#*! error message. OK EBAY!

Not very intuitive to take away a KEY feature/function that buyers use to actually monitor, catagorize, and then buy items on eBay. Please bring back the "add to lists" capability to the "watch" button. Thank you.

This has been a problem since Oct 2016. With windows 10, Firefox v56 I usually get "There was a system error" when I try to add a Buy It Now item to a collection. On Google Chrome v62 when I click add to collection, at the bottom of the window, I get a spinny circle followed by "adding" but nothing happens after 30 seconds. I will try clearing my FF cache to see what happens.

Same here its the circle of life, where it spins and your time is perpetually wasted waiting. Drives me nuts.

January 27, 2018.....Still cannot do ANYTHING with Collections, and I mean NOTHING. It's been going on with me for at least 4 months. I either get the error message or the wheel keeps turning... And turning... And turning. What is wrong that eBay techs cannot or will not fix it??? I need it so badly right now & once again, I made the foolish mistake of trying. Just pitiful, eBay.

Someone on another thread says that it's definitely a "computer issue". Really? Then why is it also happening on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8? And before that on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4? As far as I am concerned, it is definitely NOT a computer issue!

I figured out a way to get mine to work, not sure if it will work for everyone else or not. I have my collection, that I'm trying to add an item to, open in one browser window, and the item, that I'm wanting to add to the collection, open in another browser window. I'll click on add to collection, and if I get the never ending loading error, I'll go to the collection window and click refresh, and usually the item I was trying to add will appear in my collection, even though the other window never seemed to process it correctly.

I get that too. And it's now February of 2018!
