I have a bunch of saved searches all sorted by newly listed. Suddenly they aren't sorting correctly by date. I tried it in ie11 and Google chrome and it worked the same way in both browsers.

What problem are you encountering?
Can you provide a link to one of the affected searches?

Seeing the same here. Yesterday's items are appearing before today's items for me.....

Thanks for the help... Try this:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sop=10&_nkw=accessories+lot&_sacat=1202&ul_noapp=true
But you have scroll down a bit to see it.

Looks like what I'm seeing, though my searches are pretty small so I don't see it to this extent. Seems to have just started happening yesterday or today?

I tried that search in a browser I normally do not use on the off chance that one of my extensions was hiding the effect, and I did see some listings that appeared to be out of order, in twos and threes.
The really odd thing is that when I use Firefox Developer browser, I do not see the effect at all. All the listings sort correctly using Firefox Developer. Yet when I use the standard Firefox with all the same extensions and settings (they should be synced), I do see the out of order listings. Very odd.
The effect is worse if I change to sort by "Ending soonest" -- listings appear to sort correctly at first until I get to listings that end in nine days, and then suddenly there are a batch of many listings that end in mere hours. This second group of listings is much larger than the first, and appears to be sorted correctly after the initial group.

According to a UK poster, there seems to be a difference between the way that eBay is now sorting auctions versus Buy-It-Now listings.
Try splitting one of your saved searches into just auctions or just BIN listings, and see if those sort correctly when separate.

I just tried that and it's still out of sequence. 😞

It's only been a couple of days for me... or at least that I noticed it.

I've seen the sort error issue for three days now. It affects all of my saved searches. Splitting the search out for just BIN or just auction does not help. This is a serious problem. P.S. I'm using Google Chrome.

Thanks I tried it there too. I guess eBay made some "improvements"!!!!! 😀

I have also noticed when I search (time ending soonest) ALL LISTINGS, the only listings that show are auction listings or auction listings with a Buy It Now option. If I search Buy It Now listings, all of the Buy It Now listings show up that I never see under the ALL LISTINGS Search. ALL LISTINGS will show me the same listings as the AUCTION LISTINGS search. ALL LISTINGS is not working, it only includes listings for bid. This has been this way for a few days now.
If you have items for sale as a buy it now, and someone is searching ALL LISTINGS, your items will not show up.

I am somewhat relieved to find out this is not only me! I am having the same problem with all my saved searches, and it has now been going on for at least 3-4 days. I use Firefox (Mac) and have also tested it in Safari; the results are the same. Sometime I am finding items marked as being listed today appearing waaaaaaay down in the search in the midst of items posted 3 days ago. Very frustrating. This is definitely eBay's issue... I agree, I think eBay has once again made "improvements"...

I am having the same issue. It takes twice as long to look through my saved searches. Frustrating.

I'm having the same issue. It appears to have started around the end of July and makes "newly listed" searches very difficult.
