When I attempt to add a tracking number on the Seller Hub, I keep getting this error message (since last Thursday); "Something went wrong while loading this page. Please try again."

 

I've called customer support and they said they are working on it, but gave me a time frame of 24-48 hours for a fix time frame.. And we are well passed that.

 

PLEASE FIX THIS

That's just lip service they tell pretty much everybody that calls in with a tech issue.

 

Can you explain more about the steps you're taking?

 

For example, are you clicking the "+ add tracking" light gray link under the item title?

 

Are you checking the box to the left of the item then at the top using the Shipping button and selecting add tracking?

Yes. So I ship through FedEx Ship Manager, I make my labels through the FedEx software. I've been shipping and adding tracking the same way for 4+ years at this point. Every customer that we get has the same error message. There are three different buttons you can press on the seller hub that say "Add Tracking" and all of them give me the same error.

 

The issue happens once I click that button, and it pops up the Tracking number window. And the window just says "Something went wrong while loading this page. Please try again."

 

I've cleared the cache several times, I've tried different browsers, tried 3 different desktops. Even made another account with and alternate email with granted permissions to view/ship. Nothing has worked.

That would frustrate the heck out of me. I'm unable to replicate the issue on my end. I realize this does not fix the problem, but can you add tracking through the app, to at least satisfy performance standards until this gets sorted?

So I'm not the primary account. I was granted access to add tracking numbers and ship packages for my company from my boss's account. So when I try to use the app I cannot pull up the seller page since my account technically isn't the one selling the listings/products.

Can tracking be added from your boss's account through the web? I'm wondering if this issue is specific to MUAA (multi user account access).

Yes. I believe he was able to last Thursday. So I've just been sending him tracking numbers through text which has been tedious for both of us haha!

Got it, well at least we narrowed down the problem.

 

Hi elizabeth@ebay - do you mind checking to see if there's an open ticket on this? Inability to add tracking through Multi User Account Access. Only the account holder is able to add tracking and their employees authorized through MUAA are getting error messages.

Unfortunately I am still having this issue.. I've had to send tracking numbers to the primary account holder. That's the only solution right now. And I ship orders daily.

 

I hope this is fixed soon, It's been such a pain in the butt.

Contact customer service and ask them to add your account to ALERT15675

 

The fastest/easiest way to do that is to click the ? icon on the bottom right corner of the orders page. Copy/paste this info into the text box:

 

MUAA user is unable to add tracking number to the order due to an error message, "Something went wrong while loading this page. Please try again." Reference ID: ALERT15675

I am writing to express my frustration with the ongoing issue regarding the defective MUAA "add tracking number" button.
 
I have called in to customer support once a week, this issue has been persistent for over three weeks. Despite being assured (most recently which three days ago) that it would be resolved within 48 hours and I was also assured this would be placed on eBay's priority list, the problem remains unresolved.
 
I have now called customer service three times regarding this matter, and I am still without a solution. I beg anyone to take immediate action to fix this issue. That would be VERY much appreciated!!
