Sold merchandise

A longtime Ebay user/seller. I can't make the sold listing/finished auctions work. 
Is there an issue with it? 
When I prepare to sell something I always check it.

You are trying to search and filter by Sold, is that correct?

You did not explain what problem you're having with that function so it's pretty difficult to help.

That said, sold search results are not an accurate price research tool. You're better off using product research:
