Sold an item "As Is" and buyer requested refund.

I woke up with a request for refund. Refund accepted notice and I never had contact from the buyer or ebay prior. Item was described well and sold "As Is" yet ebay is forcing me to refund???

Sorry man, eBay's money back guarantee trumps an "as is" description.

Any stipulations you might make on an item such as "as-is" are invalid on ebay.  Basically if the buyer has a problem with the item, you are obligated by TOS to refund/return the item.

Amazing! So one can sell an item as broken.. document all... and seller still loses out.. Going to sell what I have to and move on... Unbelievable. Facebook has been doing a pretty good job thus far, so I bet in the future FB will over take Ebay... Just a guess
