Ebay asks me to sign in, after I sign in the same message appears again, and again, and again ...ad infinitum.

That's a glitch Ebay needs to fix.

Try another browser to rule out a browser issue. Or a private or incognito browser window. If that works better, try manually erasing just your eBay cookies in the original browser.

See if you can use a different link to sign in.

If you are using a mobile browser, try changing to a different browser mode: mobile, classic or desktop. Sometimes one page may not render properly in mobile or classic mode, and that may cause a redirection to a different mode, but the page may redirect back to the first page in a loop.
