Shopping cart new code, fails on old browser

Today, in the Shopping Cart window, clicking on  "Remove", "Save for Later" and the main "Go to Checkout" button all do nothing. Was working previously. Amusingly, using code inspector the class for the "Remove" link is "fake link". Yes, it certainly is.

So for a while I was stuck. Wanted to remove an item in the cart. Could neither remove, or even go to checkout. Finally found that the garbage can icon in the small cart preview dropdown still works.

Also the "Pay only this seller" link is still a real link, that does what it says.

Seems like this is another example of some ebay coder who thinks that using the latest DOM/JS coding methods is OK, on a site depended on by 100s of millions of people worldwide. Many of whom will have old browsers and for one reason or another can't of don't want to use a new browser.

Over the last week+ more and more of this sight has become unusable. The search function, for me at least, has become a nightmare. It was the first jacked up thing that happened. But now, more pages now are starting to have the same problems as the search page, too. I was trying search for something I needed to buy a couple of days ago and it was so bad, so frustrating, trying to use the "new" jacked up evay search that I just bagged it and went to Amazon and found my item there. I do not like shopping on Amazon for several reasons, but if ebay intends to keep screwing up this sight with no regard or care as to what they are doing, then I'll have to do my shopping on Amazon now. I also sell on ebay, so I'm dreading them messing around with those pages, too. If that happens and they ruin the functions that I need to use for selling, then that's it for me. This sight, which I've belonged to for about 20 years, will be completely useless to me. As a side note, ebay is the ONLY sight this is happening on. Every other sight I use on the internet works just fine.
