I have tried several times today to list an item using the app. I only list on the app because I find the website overwhelming. Every time I have tried to list an item today the shipping charges do not change. For example, I am trying to list a calculator that weighs at most 10 oz. When I get to the shipping part it defaults to Priority Mail with a cost of $7-$9. I then switch it to First Class and it does not change the price. even though I have changed the weight of the item. What gives? Am I doing something wrong? I have not had this problem before.

I am also running into this problem. I listed 100 or so items and then changed the category to trading cards. I changed the default shipping option from USPS 1st Class to the eBay Standard shipping option for trading cards.

On searches and the "view seller's items" page for my listings it has the USPS 1st class pricing while if you click into the item itself it shows the reduced eBay Standard shipping rate.

I am having a similar problem. I am trying to list a couple of items with USPS Priority Mail shipping and the charges calculate WAY too low and which means that I can’t list the items as I would have to cover the difference between the amount Ebay would charge the buyer and the actual cost USPS would charge me. Called Ebay and was on with a rep for 1 hour with absolutely no resolution, I honestly don’t think she understood what the problem is. A ticket was created but no time frame on resolution. We are also experiencing problems completing purchases where the item keeps being returned to the cart and we get a message that payment needs to be resent . Also no help from Ebay on that.

This is an ongoing problem I do not think eBay really cares, if they did it would be fixed, because of the vast recourses and talent they have. It has been an issue with many people as I look at old posts. Perhaps CEO Jamie Iannone an industry leader in customer experience can finally step in.
