I have received many claims over the last couple of months of packages not being delivered. When I go to the tracking information, it shows no scans with USPS. All of these packages had shipping labels purchased directly through ebay. I know for a fact these orders were shipped, but yet the tracking number makes it look like I did not ship them. I sell on many platforms and do not have this issue on any except for my ebay orders. I thought I was going nuts for a moment; then I saw a feedback review stating that there was no tracking progress on his order and then it just showed up. So now I am wondering if there is a technical issue going on, theft with USPS employees or are these customers making claims of non receipt because there is no tracking info and then the item shows up. All I know is that I've been selling online for over 20 years and have never seen so many ebay claims on my account...and no tracking movement. Are there any other sellers having/had this issue? If so, did you get it resolved?

Are you getting an acceptance scan when you take the package to the post office?

YES!!!!! I just came to this board to report this exact issue. We use scan forms. I sent out 9 packages on 8/25 on a scan form. 8 of the 9 labels scanned normally. The last label in that series never scanned. The buyer messaged me, I suggested they check the mailbox and they confirmed they had received it. On 8/26 I sent out 4 packages and NONE of those ever showed movement other than carrier scan form pick up. USPS told me it seems their scanners are not able to read the bar codes. I actually reprinted one of the 8/26 labels and put it in the mail stream yesterday to see if it would show movement (that way I could rule out the possibility that something really did happen to those 4 packages). Anyway, as expected, no scans. It's becoming very clear it's bar code issue. Unfortunately the 8/26 buyers are not being so honest.....3 out of 4 are claiming they did not receive the package, 1 buyer I have not heard a peep. This is a terrible glitch......everytime this happens we are essentially send out free stuff. It hasn't happened since 8/26 but I'm definitely on edge. As of now I'll be out $600 to cover those 3 packages.
