Shipping Label Issue From Yesterday

EBay now has this identified on their shipping label page..."

We are aware of an issue where sellers see deliveries already occurring for recently purchased lables via tracking ID numbers. This is in error and we are working to correct this. This will not impact delivery of the package."

I purchased a new label last night and notified by buyer of the new tracking number (which is unused) last night.

BTW the flash of light for the account specialist was that the shipping date was before the sold date. Consider that in any communications you have about the problem.

Hi, this happened to me for a package I sent on Sept 28. I never thought to check the tracking number before I sent it. I used the self service drawer at usps so don't have a receipt. Then poof the package disappeared somewhere because the tracking only followed the other package with the same tracking number that someone else used a few days earlier.  Buyer said he never received. Local postal worker said packages that have a reused tracking number are placed in a dead pile. Did yours get delivered?

Good choice, I just mailed mine and god knows where it went. The tracking only shows the previous tracking number and not mine. Buyer said he never received. USPS said a tracking number that was reused would result in invalidated postage and not be shipped.
