Yesterday many of us experienced the problem with shipping labels where you did not have the option of printing the label for Tuesday the 27th. As we can all see that problem is fixed.
However there was an additional problem that presented itself to me yesterday when trying to print a label for a Canadian shipment. Ebay has always offered its TRS the Commercial Rate less a specified discount for shipping USPS FCP [First Class Parcel] International. Now this may have happened at some other time, but yesterday I had a Canadian shipment and I noticed it is now using the full RETAIL rate for FCP International and then the Ebay discount for the net amount that the seller will have to pay. This makes a HUGE difference.
FCP to Canada for a 8 Oz Package full retail price is $10.00. Canada is zone 1.
On the Ebay label it is currently saying that an 8Oz FCP to Canada is full retail of $14.00, which is zone 5 or 9.
FCP To Canada for an 8Oz package Commercial rate is $9.50.
This is a HUGE difference and is costing me money that I can't get back from USPS.
I need to ship my items. What is Ebay's fix for this? Is Ebay going to refund the overage.
