Setting photo gallery to original settings

I can't get photo gallery to work properly. From the listing page I click on "add photo" then gallery opens but all photos are shown in Icon form not the actual photo images. I tried to fix it so I could see all the images but screwed it badly and made things even worse. How do I re-set it to its default or original settings?

Hi - I've had this happen to me as well. I've simply had to restart my computer and all was well.

Thanks, I tried restarting but it didn't help. This is windows 7 and I'm pretty sure the photo program is no longer supported meaning it no longer gets updates. Fortunetly its only my backup computer but it would be nice to have a working photo storage program on it. I thought maybe I could download something online that would replace it but havn't found one.
