Seller Hub Bug: Orders page sometimes does not display the Buyer Name

Seller Hub

Paid and Shipped page

https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=statusSmiley TongueAID_SHIPPED&trackingnumbers=1

For most orders, it shows the Buyer Name and Buyer Username at the top of each Record in the  Purchase Details column.

For some of the orders, some of the time, it only displays the Buyer Username.  If I refresh the page, this may change, but it does not fix how every record is displayed.  Some still just show the Buyer Username without the Buyer Name.

This is a problem becuase when I'm searching for orders on the page in order to post tracking numbers, I need to see the Buyer Name - because that's what's associated with the Tracking Number for the order.

I don't need a workaroud. I know how to search further to find the order.

This is a bug in the Seller Hub, Orders page.

Whom from eBay needs to be tagged in this post so that it gets some attention.  I can share screenshots with eBay to demonstrate.

When the Orders page displays only the Buyer Username, it displays (0) to the right of the Buyer Username indicating that the buyer has a Feedback Rating of 0. This is incorrect. The buyers I checked do not have Feedback Ratings of 0.

This is a bug.

You can thank Lithium for the the awful formatting of the above.

Nobody around to tag on the weekends.  You can report the problem to ebay:

You can contact ebay on social media. Do not give any personal information until an eBay employee contacts you offline:

Hi @stoneledge & @grilled - Have you contacted customer service to report this issue? We're happy to help here on the boards to clarify policy, provide updates on known issues, and to monitor for trends to pass along feedback to the appropriate team. We're happy to help wherever we can but issues like this would be something you'd want reported to customer service directly. They'll be able to access your account to help troubleshoot or submit a report to the tech team if needed.

Thanks @Anonymous  Could you please direct us to a very technically capable Customer Service resource at eBay who could understand this issue and have access to the right developers to focus on this and other tricky tech bugs we've identified?

Any department you speak with has access to filing a report with our tech team. They'll then review the issue and work with the appropriate developers to resolve the issue. I know waiting on a phone call isn't ideal and there are other ways of contacting us as well.

As @comics-scifi-collectibles mentioned above, you are able to reach out on Facebook or Twitter to report the problem. It's a different channel that wouldn't require you to speak with someone over the phone but they'll be able to address this too.

Thanks Heidi.   Most of the people who answer the phone do not understand these technical issues.  So it's like explaining how to cook a dinner to someone who has never cooked and they are supposed to explain how to cook it to a third person.

Further, the online "Customer Service" links do not offer any way for a seller who has the skills to clearly explain a technical issue to contact a department that undestands tech issues.    Try out the options at the "Contact Support" links on eBay.  They are all about what they think you might want to ask about, and don't offer any way to get through to the right department. How would a Seller guess which of these options is the best?

Hi @grilled - You would select the options that have to do with the technical issue you're running into. If it has to do with a selling tool/page, you'll want to click on Selling & follow the prompts that best fit. That way you'll reach the department that handles that specific area of the site and they'll be able to help troubleshoot or report the issue to our tech team.
