Sell Similar error

"Hi, I've come across a bug in ebay whereby clicking 'Have one to sell? - Sell now' doesn't create a draft, instead it add this item into my cart and takes me to the cart. See video attached"

I had the exact same experience a few days ago, and was going to try to report it, but then it started working correctly after a few attempts. I thought it had resolved itself then.

I've used "Sell now" numerous times since then and didn't get sent to the Cart, except for just now today lol.

It's back, I guess?

Report it from any of the listings it happens on - click the "?" in the lower right of your screen, then "report a technical problem"

I've seen reports of this intermittently for the past month.

Follow the other poster's advice to click the ? icon on the bottom right of the page to file a report and include a link to this community post so eBay will see your video.

Is this still happening to you? Did you see an error message (or were you simply sent straight to your cart)? 

It looks like a new/on-going: Current known technical issue  with an Alert number attached to it:

"Sellers are unable to click on sell again/edit the template due to error message: Well, this is embarrassing" - ALERT16069

Hi @jtzvwbug - thanks for checking

It hasn't happened again since I posted this (natch) and I was being sent directly to my Cart with no error message.

I could get it to work eventually with 2 or 3 more attempts on the same listing, so the Drafts were being created.

So weird...

I didn't want to list anything, but I tried. I was sent straight to the Advanced Listing form where I could list something. No prob, lol.
