Why is ther now a preview page that requires a click on "see details" to get to a listing? Is there a way to turn-off this irritating step?

This started because several months back something was changed in the programming and the Spybot program (in my case) was coming up with warnings about "suspicious addresses".
Whatever was changed it happened overnight. The reason I say this is because I was into the same listings the day before and there were no warning pages coming up.
I think I sent a message about the problem to eBay. But I'm not sure. I doubt that I was the only one having the problem so i would guess they received a lot of messages.
Anyhow, after about a week, I was able to open the listings at least BUT when it came to actually reading the full description, I noticed a link saying "full details" had been placed there.
So if you want full details about an item then at least, at present, you will need to click on the link. But it takes only a few seconds usually to click and have it load. So I don't have any problem with it.
For now, the only way to eliminate the link clicking is to buy on the basis of what you can glean from photos, the title and the small description box. But you may end up with something you hate or can't use at all, by doing this.
I doubt it will change anytime soon because as far as eBay is concerned, the problem has been dealt with.
