Hi there. I posted in the developer forums but got no reply.
Since about mid November 2023, using the Finding API (FindItemsAdvanced), including blocked sellers to a search increases the response time by about 5x.
Searches fail with more than 80 blocked sellers, with a error response saying every blocked seller is invalid.
I have been using this API for more than 2 years and the response times for a search with 100 blocked sellers (the max limit) was no more than ~2 seconds. Since November, I can see response times of ~10 seconds at 80 blocked sellers.
I am not sure if this is affecting production eBay but it could be-- a 5x increase in server times must be costing eBay money.
