Hi there. I posted in the developer forums but got no reply. Since about
mid November 2023, using the Finding API (FindItemsAdvanced), including
blocked sellers to a search increases the response time by about
5x.Searches fail with more than 80 block...
Getting a search failure with blocked sellers. It is returning that all
of the blocked sellers are invalid. Searches without blocked sellers
work fine.
That is concerning. I haven't seen issues like that in my testing. Could
be something to do with escaped characters. I am not switching to the
Browse API until the very last moment, still quite some time left.
This is a massive disappointment for me. I have switched over to the
Browse API for testing and it renders my app useless. Compared to the
Finding API, I am missing several items in search results, and there
seems to be a delay of 10-15 minutes befor...
Thank you, I will try that out. I did make a post in the "Report eBay
Technical Issues" today as well. Also to clarify, for the premium
suppprt, I will need to purchase hours first and if a bug is found they
will reimburse me?
Painfully slow response time with 80 blocked sellers. And I am seeing
some blocked sellers get through to the response occasionally. With 81
blocked sellers the search errors out.Is this API going to be
deprecated?
