Search results not showing main listing image, it's showing a random variation image.

When searching for specific products, the results are showing random MPN/Variation listing images and not the main listing image. 

This is causing confusion as it looks like the listing only has one product, and not multiples that would typically be found in a Variation listing.

Same thing is happening on all my multiple variation listings!

Only one random variation photo comes up instead of the

main multiple colors photo spent hours to merge.

Called eBay this morning techs said would put urgent on it,

still not fixed!

Ready to close my eBay store over this, maybe that will

make all my listings show the main photo!

Losing sales because customers can not see all colors offered.

I tried deleting all variation photos leaving only the main photo,

and that is the only way it will show.

So frustrated with this glitch not being fixed in a timely manner.

I paid $1500 in fees last month, for the worst service ever.

Yes, I can see eBay does not care at all the effects their

actions have on seller sales.

If not fixed by tomorrow I am deleting ALL variation photos

and leaving just the main photo I need to show.

What other option are they leaving me????

This is the worst glitch I have ever encountered in 18 years on this site!

Found another reason to close my eBay store.

Just did an advanced search for my store name:

"We couldn't find any stores with the name Sew-Biz Fabrics.

Try searching for something else."

What the heck, who is running eBay, is everyone stoned???

Main photos are still not showing today!

Again eBay causing me all kinds of work to

work around their glitch. Spending the day

removing all variation photos so the main one will show.

Then all the work to put them back once this glitch is fixed.

This is why  I closed my store last time.

I am definitely not getting the same service that I signed

up to pay for every month!

Probably the guys that got arrested were the only ones there to fix this!

I am having the exact same problem. It started for me today. I am in Canada and it does it both on .ca and .com. I have a 250 variation candle listing and the main picture showed my candle shelf collection and listed it as a candle lot. I was getting  many hits a day and now only about 40 for today. 

Instead of showing the shelf as the main pic, it rotates candles from the ad and that’s how I found it in the search today.

It’s also doing it for my soap collection.

It has been two days now and is still not fixed!

I have one listing with 50 colors only showing one color

instead of the photo of all 50.

Removed so many variation photos yesterday so the main one would show.

Do they realize how long it will take to put those back?

I am so frustrated with this glitch it is hurting everyones sales and eBay could care less!

Weird, someone just ordered two  colors in a variation listing,

and it showed both colors when I viewed order details.

I had removed all the variation photos. Guess they were on file?

Big difference in sales since I put the main photos back.

The same with all my listings with variations. The issue is not fixed yet!

I included my main photo with most of my items where it allows you to add more pictures  and it’s showing up for me in the searches now. However views are down considerably from a week ago. What a hassle!

Yeah I was thinking about doing that but man between all of our variation listings your talking 1500+ items I think ill just ride this one out for now hopefully fixed soon.

That would be such a hassle. Wow, you alone are losing lots of sales.

Shame at a time when some sellers really need the money for bills!

So if they put urgent on this tech request when I called on Tuesday,

it appears not to be urgent to eBay to show the main photo so customers

can see all variations in one photo. Come on eBay FIXIT!!!

Actually I only did it for the first few candles and it showed up but yea really annoying for seller to do that for every item and for buyers to keep seeing the main picture.

I’ve been told by buyers that they really like the variation ads so hopefully it gets fixed soon for everyone’s sake.

Maybe we better not complain too much!

Or we will start getting bugs in the mail! LOL

Maybe we should send a letter to the CEO of eBay?

I have a list of glitches that are not being fixed.
