I first noticed this when searching listings. I put in specific words and noticed that listings were in search results that did not have all of the search words. I could get around this by going to adanced search and selecting "exact words, any order". this altered my search words to put them all individually in quotes. that worked. so basically ebay thought it knew better what I wanted to search for. charming.
Now I find that the problem is also affecting search when I am searching my own listings in seller hub. except I cant get around it. so i can't find my own darn items in my own darn listings in the tool ebay gives us to do just that. awesome.
anyone else notice this?
none of this was happening until the last week or so. picture below clearly shows i am searching for champleve and search is including listings that are related (champleve is a type of cloisonne) but do NOT have that word in the title. How can ebay screw up something so basic?!? (rhetorical question, i know) I do not have that word in the description either. I think it is pulling it in as a related word, again search thinking it knows better what I meant to do. no thanks ebay, i know what i am doing.
