I will one more time attempt to describe my issue with the search for anything bar. When I click on the bar the results are 5 recent searches preceded by a clock face icon ...2 saved searches preceded by a heart icon ...and 2 saved sellers preceded by a heart icon. If I type the first letter of a word I get a drop down of 1 recent search preceded by a clock icon and the remains of the list consists of 11 things that are complete nonsense.
If I go to advanced search and click on the enter keyword or item number I get a drop down list of 6 items that I have been searching for for years. If I type the first letter of a word I get a drop down list of 6 items that I have been searching for for years that begin with that letter... no icons , no recent searches. no saved searches or saved sellers. I want the "search for anything bar" anywhere in the system to mimic the advanced search display. I know what I want to look for I don't need ebay suggestions. I have no idea why you are not seeing what I'm seeing because I've complained about this numerous times to ebay customer service and they have confirmed that they see what I'm seeing and that this is the result of an ebay update in May. Don't think I can be any clearer. The new search bar drop down has turned what used to be fun into a chore
