Is it ebay or my computer. When I search for items and try to modify the search in the left hand column like sold items I get no response. Is it my computer or Ebay?

Presumably. Someone will have to figure out what the exact problem is, and whether it is on eBay's end or Safari's end, or some interaction between the two, or something else entirely, and then convince the appropriate folks to actually find and implement a solution.
