Trying a search with title and description and I keep getting message "Page unavailable, we've looked everywhere". Also searching under certain sellers that I know have hundreds of items listed and I get 6 to 7 results.

This is not just you. Same thing happening to me.

This is happening for ALL of my primary saved searches. It happens for both Firefox and Edge, so it's not a browser issue. Either something is broken or eBay has changed their URL search string format. If I have to re-build all of them it would be a major pain. Similar saved search URLs are still working fine on eBay DE (Germany).

I am having same issue since last night. I called ebay (they called me right back as that is the protocol now) and filed a report with the customer service agent. Please do the same as if more people do that I hope it will be fixed sooner.

Do you have a lot of exclusions or excluded sellers in those searches? In the past, some search URLs could get too long to be evaluated properly, causing odd errors.
Newer searches use a slightly different URL format that is less susceptible to this, I think.
See if you can copy your search keywords from the old search and paste them into a new search. That may work better. If not, try dropping a few exclusions to see if that makes a difference.

Just for info: does not happen using Edge with Windows 10. No ad blockers. No 'black out' screens (which both have been known to cause search problems)

Should point out that I'm having problems when I use the Advanced Search feature.

I also get an error on a test search from the Advanced Search page when using the title and description option, but not otherwise.
If you try the original search from the Advanced Search page but without using the "Search including: title and description" option, does the search work? If so, can you then choose that option on the search results page successfully? That seems to work for me with my test search.

On your Saved Searches page, hover your cursor over the search link. If the search URL has the format of ebay.com/dsc try copying that search URL using a right click, then paste that URL into a new browser tab address bar without loading the page, and replace the dsc term with sch instead, then load the page. That may allow the search to load properly. If so, try saving or bookmarking the new one.

Yes. I never noticed the option for Search Description before when I use the search bar at the top of the page. Never used it much, always used the Advanced Search function. Has it always been there? Thanks for the info.

You are welcome. I believe that option has always been there on the search results page, at least as long as I can remember.

I don't use eBay's Saved Searches feature. I save my searches in URL format from the command line, put all of them into a bookmarks folder in Firefox, and then with a single 'Open All In Tabs' command I can trigger a couple of dozen searches on demand. This allows me to check for items more frequently and more effectively than the eBay notification engine can manage. These all worked fine up until yesterday, and as I said in my original post they still work fine for eBay DE. eBay broke something!

I use bookmarks of my searches in a similar fashion.
Check the original URL associated with one of the nonworking searches. In Firefox you can edit a bookmark by right clicking on the bookmark, and other browsers should have a similar feature; from there you should have access to the bookmark URL. This is handy if the bookmark is being redirected to an error page. If the bookmark address starts with ebay.com/dsc, replace the dsc with sch and see if that allows the search to work again.

I'm having the same problem. Have already called twice. Nothing fixed. Ebay told me it might take up to an month to fix mine. Meanwhile, I am selling on Etsy. Ebay is getting to be a bit of a "hassle." It's good to hear, though, that I'm not the only one with this problem.

Good luck with that. I've called twice already and the last time they said that it could be a month before I am able to search. I haven't been able to use the search function since May 31st. Ugh. Ebay drives me crazy. Am selling and buying on Etsy for now. Ebay seems to be going down the tubes.
