The right hand scroll bar is missing when I try to view an individual listing page so I cannot access the description of the item. I have cleared all cookies from browser etc but the problem still exists. This problem only occurs when using Chrome (have updated still no joy). If I use Firefox the scroll bar is there. This might explain why my views have gone up but my sales have tanked. Is anyone else having the same problem? Viewing on mobile is fine but on PC/laptop the scroll bar disappears.

Har! 😁 I know what you mean. I sometimes have to use the Arrow keys as a backup in certain situations (I can't think of an example at this moment), but mainly I use my mouse thumbwheel for scrolling anyway. As long as the cursor is actively clicked into the main window, I just scroll up and down as needed, rather than having to aim for the vertical slidebar on the right, which requires more focus to either grab the slider button or at least Shift+Click on whichever spot I want to jump to in the slider bar.
I think it's generally called a thumbwheel even though I use my index finger to roll it. I use that so much that I don't even think about it anymore, and thus never noticed that the slidebar had vanished from certain pages.
P.S. Have you ever tried clicking the thumbwheel? That puts you into a strange floaty mode -- I don't know what its official name is -- where the page position just follows wherever you move the cursor. (Click again to jump out of it.)

I am having same issue. I just used different search engine (Startpage) for ebay and the scroll bar is there. Chrome is the problem.

Cutting costs, scroll bars are expensive!
More green cards, please!

I spoke too soon. Disregard previous comment because it seems to be hit and miss. Annoying.

I am seeing the scroll bar back in Chrome and Edge now.
If you do not see it yet, try refreshing the page. Or shift-refresh.

○@wildlily07 I have a Targus Optical Pointer with a roller wheel between the left & right click buttons ... the wheel works the same as a scroll bar.
Old school: Others mentioned the arrow keys ... you can also depress the Shift key then hit Page Up or Page Down keys ... magic, the screen moves a screen at a time.

I am wondering if this explains the lack of sales in the last day ... usually weekend sales start Thursday evening ... not this week ... so far none ...

I agree with you. I worked on my computer for an hour trying to get the scroll bar to work. I re started my computer, then deleted my cookies, then went to another browser, thinking something was wrong with my browser. It would be nice if ebay is experiencing technical issues that they share them with the people who use their system. If they would let us know about the technical issues, it certainly would show that ebay values the time of their subscribers.

"I worked on my computer for an hour trying to get the scroll bar to work."
I always check the boards first to see if it's just me or everyone has the pox.

Yes, scroll bar is there but not highlighted and VERY difficult to find by rolling cursor all around the screen until it hits and highlights it. Not just Chrome, same on Edge as well.
