Screen freezes up when i click to view larger images w Mac/ Safari

I have to close the enlarged image with the X box, and can only click and thru and view the smaller images.

Are you using the latest version of Safari?

Do you experience the same thing with other browsers?

I just tried with Safari (15.3) on a desktop Mac (11.6.4), and it works. Perhaps the browser cache should be cleared, or perhaps the browser is allocated insufficient memory.
