So a few months ago I sold a watch to someone in which he asked to return it because it "didnt work" so I agree and he asks me to message him my address so he can ship it back. Which was very sketch because he can see my address on my profile and on the original package I sent him.
Few days go by, and the return tracking number he posted showed it was delivered but I NEVER GOT IT. Of course I contact the buyer about if he wrote down correct address and all of that which he claims he did and USPS just lost it. Then Ebay deducts the money from my bank account and refunds it to the guy AND deducts same amount from my Paypal and refunds it to the guy.
Not only did I not get my item, I refunded the punk 2 times!! I contact Ebay and they even can see on my profile two completely different messages from two different dates saying the guy was refunded from two freaking different accounts/sources!! And no not a refund email and a reminder or confirmation. No two different emails saying the dude was refunded a few days apart. Yet the terrible customer service at Ebay had ZERO explanation for why two diff refunds from two different sources of mine (Bank and Paypal) refunded the guy two times with two different Ebay messages saying the guy was refunded from two different dates!!! How the hell does that make sense especially considering it was suppose to be 1 refund for 1 item!!
I spent so many days talking to Paypal and Ebay and they each blamed each other and at the end of the day Ebay did not care, they continued backing the other guy, and not only could not explain the double refunds...they SIMPLY JUST IGNORED ME AND IT!!
THE BEST PART YOU ASK? Ebay looked "deeper" and told me the package was indeed shipped by the guy and delievered...I ask where does it say? IT WAS DELIEVRED TO A ZIP CODE I DO NOT LIVE IN AND DIFFERENT FROM MY ADDRESS THAT'S BEEN ON FILE FOR LIKE 10 YEARS AND DIFFERENT FROM MY ADDRESS ON THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE AND DIFFERENT FROM THE ADDRESS I TOLD THE DUDE TO SHIP TO!!
Ebay did not care!! I told them I will send you my dang records to show two different refunds from two different sources-Chase and my Paypal! They ignored it. Just unbelievable how horrible you are Ebay!
I am 10000% certain the guy had shipped an item to someone else in my state around the same time he was suppose to ship it back to me thus showing it "was delivered to me". That has happened to me three times and each time they were caught so I am 100% certain thats what happened. Never heard from the guy again, continues to ignore me to this day, and is still very much active on Ebay.
I am utterly speechless at Ebay and your horrible customer service. Its been like 3 months and it just makes me so mad. Forget the watch and double my money all of which was basically stolen from me...Ebay's inability to answer and explain all these occurences is what amazes me the most.
Shame on you! I know its difficult for you Ebay to stop counting your billions for a second as you sit on your throne and try to help us common folks the ones who are paying for your yachts but you guys really should be ashamed.
I apologize for rambling and this being so long, I am just furious at all of this.
