Saved Searches functionality broken

As someone searching for collectibles, I rely on the Saved Search functionality. It has recently been changed so that its functionality is now broken.

1) You can no longer name your searches; the de facto name was the search equation. This means you get emails with subjects like this: "8 NEW: set -patch -puck -jersey -patches -pin -..."

2) There is an arbitrary limit that varies per user; my current limit is now 93 searches, which is an odd number - however, I now cannot even remove a Saved Search in order to replace it with another. I also cannot refine a Saved Search because I am at the limit.

3) I posted this in another thread, but the Saved Search emails used to be mobile friendly, but are no longer. Additionally, they needlessly truncate the auction name to about 25 characters, making it difficult to figure out what the item is.

This functionality comes and goes, which is very frustrating. For several months this year, things were actually working pretty well; I could rename a Saved Search, and my limit, which had been 73 searches, was lifted. But now the restrictions are back. I have to jump through hoops and create a second eBay account just to add more items to search for - which is really inconvenient.

I know that I'm shouting into the wind here, but if anyone from eBay can hear me, can you please fix the Saved Searches?

Saved Searches functionality broken

I would add that saved searches by seller / category are now also broken.

I don't really want to start yet another thread on broken searches as there appears to be a half dozen that are currently "actively broken" - so it seems whatevever """improvevments""" eBay put into the system lately have really screwed up saved searches in general.

But to the point - I've had numerous searches saved for some time that are based on a specific seller, a specific category (Musical Instruments & Gear), and a specific sort order (Newly listed).  These searches worked fine for > 1 year.

This week I started to get emails that are simply the complete listings of the named seller, sorted Newly Listed - so the "Category" is now being ignored for whatever reason.  I can open the page, select the category, and hit "Search" and see the expected results, so I know there are items that should be hitting these "traps".

I have tied editing the existing search.  I have tried creating new searches.  Neither action resulted in expected results.

I won't rant about the changes in eBay over the last couple years, I will simply comment that it's little surprise sales are down so sharply.
