Sale of item not listed

Today was my first cancelled sale. Not a problem, except this was an item I had sold years ago, and was not listed in my store. The buyer had zero purchase or sale info. Just seemed too strange. Has this happened to anyone else? Note: I did try to get help several places on eBay with no luck.

Are you referring to the Barry Manilow album?

You only have 7 current active listings, so how would you NOT know that the Barry Manilow album shouldn't have been listed unless it was a multi-quantity item?

I sell multi-quantity items regularly.  Most are stored in our warehouse space.  Some take several years to sell, so sometimes I am not able to locate the item after so many years because things do get moved around.

However, with so few listings, I would think you would be able to know when something is listed that you know was sold years ago (and have no idea how it was suddenly relisted) and then END the listing before someone purchases it.
