Safari "Printer Friendly page" not working

Ever since EBAY updated the web look, problems with "Printer Friendly Page" of orders occurs.

The Link launches a new process that does show the invoice in printer friendly format; however, when printing is launched from either the icon or from the menu bar, the Safari print shows a blank page with no content.  If printing, the page prints blank.  Subsequently I am no longer able to print any paper copies of my orders. Comments?

Are you able to print using a different browser?

Not sure how things work on a Mac, but using a PC browser, I can specify how PDFs open by default, and I can choose to open a PDF using Adobe Acrobat directly rather than using the browser, which can be problematic.

Thanks, eburtonlab, but its not a pdf. Its print content generated by the website when requested. Its null, blank, nada. I appreciate the reply, though.

Again, not totally sure about Macs, but when launching printing on a PC, a PDF version of the page is generated. If the browser is set to open PDFs in the browser by default, often a blank page can be the result. Try setting your browser to open PDFs using Acrobat Reader as the default and see if that makes a difference for you.

Or try a different browser, as a test.

a .pdf is not generated to view. When the "print" button is executed from within the ebay "printer friendly" widow, the mac printerselect/printing window opens with normally a preview of the generated printout shown in a thumbnail view. IF you opt to save the "Print" as a pdf; that PDF is BLANK. If you hit the "print" button, a BLANK page is printed. IF, when viewing the "printer friendly" window from within EBAY one opts instead to used a full page PRINT from the application dropdown menu, all other content is generated BUT NOT any of the content contained with the "printer friendly" window which continues to have no content.  Since there are no .PDFS to view nor is a PDF being generated, there is nothing that ADOBE has to do with the print function at this point as far as I can tell. Thanks again for being insistent upon .pdf printing but I assure you that the mac has no pdf printing problems from any application nor any website other than EBAY - thus making this purely and 100% an EBAY code related matter.

I have exactly the same problem with Safari.   It works fine with Brave and Firefox though - this is an eBay/Safari issue or Safari/eBay issue..
