SHIPPING GLITCH?

item bought item paid for but no way to buy postage. only option is to contact buyer. on payment email only thing it says "It's time to arrange for pickup with your buyer." i doubt their driving to indiana from colorado. other payments from almost the exact same time are set to ship??????????

so the buyer clicked on local pickup on checkout. when the buyer does this you can no longer buy postage through ebay. going to cost me more to buy shipping elsewhere.

Buyer can only click 'pick up' if you offered it.  I would ask buyer why they clicked 'local pick up' if they are not planning on picking it up.  Best to not offer that so you have 'shipping proof' unless item is too large or costly to ship. Also,  How are you collecting the $ from the buyer now since they did that? Note that you can buy postage through paypal; cost is about the same.

Also many other sites (pirateship, something like that) Be sure to mark the item 'shipped' or 'picked up' so it closes properly.

i get a lot of local orders so not having it isnt an option. the payment went through, i offer free shipping so the full amount was paid. dont know why they clicked it people make mistakes so ill chalk it up to that.

i do get a decent discount from ebay but not enough that its a huge concern. it is bad programming in managed payments though probably just overlooked
