Is this for a item you bought or sold? If bought by you has the seller added the tracking to the purchase on ebay? If sold by you did you up load the tracking to the sale on ebay?
As a SELLER I normally up load the tracking number on PayPal, and the system shows that tracking number on eBay? So both of them ( PayPal and eBay) have got the record of Tracking number as well as the Buyer. But now some are missing from eBay?
Perhaps try manually adding the tracking number to the sold item on Ebay to see if it gets fixed. You may want to call both Ebay and Paypal to report the issue so both sides can try and determine where the problem is happening. Also have you tried checking this using different browsers and devices. Although I have never had to do this for any other website and as dumb as it sounds sometimes clearing your browsers cashed data and history can help. Before you call Ebay and Paypal try and verify if the buyer is having the same problem it could help them to know if it is 1 or more users having this issue. I purchase USPS labels online through ebay and in the past some times the tracking through Ebay will be blank for a day or two but USPS's website will be correct.
