Results matching fewer words - potential bug

For the past two days in New Zealand I've been plagued with a rather bizarre problem concerning the search function.  I regularly search for Muppet Photos and I usually get x number of results.  However, since yesterday all that happens is that only one result comes up, and below I get a heading that reads "Results matching fewer words" that includes one page of results.  No second page of results is showing.  I have to change the search keywords if I want to see lots of results.

This *isn't* just happening on my home laptop, I'm also getting the same problem on the computers in my work place.

All my bookmarked and one off searches show 0 results..

there is thousands of hits but not sortable by price or any other paremeter.

Same problem here too, its been 3 days now.   This is terrible. Ebay is the worst place to buy and sell atm

It seems they want to force you to look at ALL the options (items) that come up, which are correct indeed, yet in no sorted manner....

Same here, I'm located in Sweden. Getting very strange results, often none at all.

And it's impossible to get ahold of any real support from ebay.

It must be a bug or something

A friend from Japan wrote a few days ago to my post that :

"It seems ebay.com is blocking foreign IPs at the moment. You can buy or sell, but you can't use the search function. US domestic buyers/sellers aren't affected.

Search results for "germany" (from Japan): 0 results.

Same search using US located proxy server: 2,070,227 results.

You need to access via a US server or perhaps use a VPN to get aroung it."

So ebay is blocking foreign IPs ....

Ebay must fix this bug.....
