Reporting a Auction

I often see account take overs and scammers trying to sell something on a account that has been taken over with messages to take the sale off eBay.... so of course I report it.

Problem is on one of my accounts I can not. The pull down menu's simply do not work. (See picture).

No you are probably going to tell me to try another browser and I have. Chrome, Firefox and IE. All do not let me pull down any of the menus.

This problem is related to my account and my account only. Let me explain why...

I have two accounts. One is for selling and the other is for buying. The buying account it works on all browsers. On my selling account (this one) it does not work on any browser.

Can a eBay technical person give me a clue on how to solve this? I tried to open a ticket but that has got me nowhere.

The only thing I can think of that would make any sense at all would be if eBay limits sellers reporting of items in categories where they also sell, to prevent sellers from reporting their competitors. But if that were the case, you would think that there would be an error message or a warning rather than a nonfunctional drop-down menu.

Especially since it appears that any seller can simply use another account to get around that "block" if it is intentional.

I tend to think this has to be some sort of bug that affects (some?) seller accounts (or non-buying accounts?) for some reason.

I had to call in and get someone to report the bug or me. Will advise once I hear back from eBay.

The auctions I report (99%) of them are ones that are account take overs (phishing) and selling expensive items at silly low prices BUT they have to contact the seller off eBay and they post an email address to contact. Payment requested by Western Union. If your experienced you know the Scam.
