Removing item details after purchase eliminates cross checking for proper item identification and/or missing representation of items. Descriptions should be available to buying and ebay to ensure buyer is receiving proper products. This should be available for 7 days min. to eliminate problems.

eBay item descriptions are typically available for ninety days, unless a listing is specifically removed by eBay for a policy violation.

How are you viewing item listings? If you are using the eBay app, make sure you have the latest version; previous versions had various issues with links missing from the Purchases screen.

Using a desktop browser, you should be able to view sold or ended items using links in your Purchase History, for instance. If listings have been edited or modified, there should be a link to the original listing as it appeared at the time of purchase.

The historical record of the item your purchased is available for a period of time after your purchase.
