Red error message when trying to view messages

For some reason I can't open any messages and get this error box that doesn't have any text inside. Tried 2 different browsers

I'm in the same boat. I'd say for 'about' two hours now. I am in Iowa, and running chrome, desktop.

I had that problem too but it was recently fixed.

My messages are back up and running properly now, after about 2.5 hours of down time.

Some users seem to be seeing a red slash-in-a-circle icon when selecting messages using a desktop browser. Messages may or may not load when selected.

If messages do not load at all, try clearing cache and cookies only on eBay by clicking on the lock icon to the left of the address bar in your browser. You will need to sign back in to eBay at that point, but messages should load again.
