Like the title says. Recently viewed items that appear on my Purchase History page are not mine. Third time this has happened in the last week. First it was a long list of high end collector plates. Then Holden automotive brochures. Today it's baseball cards. Never viewd any of these Listings. Anyone else have this going on? -96

Well this is strange....this old thread comes back and I had this very issue again this morning. Logged on and the recently viewed items were three (3) listings for women's tops that I never viewed (no really...honest). Then went to another page and the items were correct. I haven't had this issue one bit since posting above. I don't think this is a hacker issue. I think it's a Ebay software glitch. Well...I hope anyway....-96

Wow, I'm glad I'm not alone in seeing this same behavior. It's super strange and disconcerting. I've done the password reset before, but now I'm seeing it again.

I have experienced the same thing. Often getting a list of items I have viewed which I would never view or recommendatons for stuff I would never buy.

Something weird like this has happened to me, too. I share a cubicle space with a woman who searched for three specific items on ebay from her personal phone. Then I received targeted e-mails from ebay asking if I was still interested in the items. We have never signed into one another's computer or phone. We work in a large location, so if it were just coming from general internet searches, one would think that I would see all of that too, and not just my colleagues.
This troubles me.

You're on the public (or private) wifi at your business, the device that connects to the internet typically has a SINGLE ip address for all devices. Ebay's ad delivery isn't smart enough to distinguish between the different USER IDs or MAC ADDRESSES to determine which device should actually receive the follow up ad. Just another day in eBay's dysfunctional IT world.
Last year there was an issue where a catalog item got some bizarre "adult only" items attached to the catalog page. One seller of that item was complaining about the inappropriate association and subsequently posted how his wife WAS NOT PLEASED when she got "are you still interested" messages on her phone for the incorrectly linked listings.

Same here. I phoned eBay but I don't think they knew what I was asking about. I hope more members post about this, so we might find what It's about.

It is happening to me too. I got an email a couple days ago asking if I was still interested in a car part I supposedly looked at, but I know I never did. I looked at the source code for the email and it seems legitimately from eBay, so I don't think it is a phishing attempt. I changed my password after the first one, but I just got another one today for a different car part. If I login to my account and look at recently viewed items it isn't there. It is a little disconcerting.

I get this too. My mum will go "have you been looking at ---?" For some reason, my recently veiwed items pop up as her recently reviewed items!
We're not connected to the same wife because we dont HAVE wifi.
I haven't logged into my ebay on her device and she's never logged onto her ebay on my device, either.
It's a total invasion of people's privacy for this to happen to so many people??

Glad to see I'm not the only one with this issue.
I constantly get items showing up that my wife has looked at, but not vice versa. We assumed it was due to both our laptops being on the same router but today I've had a few more items show up in the list and yes my wife had looked at them but this time she had been using her phone on mobile data so now we know it's nothing to do with the IP address.
While typing this I had a random thought to check eBay on my phone, on both wifi and mobile data I get the correct recently viewed items but the laptop persists in showing me what the wife has been looking at. Starting to look like it's something on my laptop but what??????

Well, thanks to posting the above message I've fixed my issue.
I've just noticed the message above that I just typed was posted from my wifes' eBay ID. Somehow, I've been logged into the community boards under her ID while being logged into eBay for buying and selling under my own ID. I logged out of here, went to eBay and my recently viewed items on the purchase page are just mine now.
What's odd is she has never used my laptop for anything so heck knows how I was logged into these boards on her ID.

This started on my account about a week ago. I am getting all sorts of items I would never look at nor buy. Some here have mentioned that their recently viewed items will eventually revert to the correct ones however mine do not. Its like someone has been in my account. Changed passwords on everything and still getting the wrong viewed items.

Is it possible you have left your eBay account (or eBay Community account) signed in on another device?
If you have either Facebook or Google linked to your account, consider unlinking them -- if someone has access to either they can get into your eBay account without a password.

My computer is the only "device" connected to ebay. Do not use apps or a cell phone.
Never will I login, link to, or share using google or facebook, in fact I don't use google for anything at all and facebook, well I will leave that one alone.
No one ever uses this computer but me.
Its either a glitch with ebay or access has been compromised.
