Recent problem adding photos.

Since last Thursday 23/1/2025 I have had a real problem adding photos to a listing. If I choose sell a similar item all is fine until I try to add photos. It gives me a choice to add from mobile or computer. Although I list predominantly on a lap top I use a mobile for the photos. When I choose use mobile it sends a notification to my phone, when I click on this and I am taken to photo editing on my phone, I receive a message "we're sorry - there was an error. An unexpected error occured".  I have tried all the alternatives to try and fix this but nothing has worked. On choosing some random sale items I have found two or three listings that will work, I notice there is a different photo format which was not there before and the photos add and work correctly. Also if I change browser (not the normal ebay recommended servers) then all works normally ! I tried calling customer service and explained this problem, they said they would log with technical and I would receive a reply within 24 hours. So far I have had no reply and its been three days ! I would be really interested to hear if any other sellers are experiencing similar problems or if there is a fix ! Thank you.

What browser do you normally use? Latest version?

If things work better in another browser, try clearing your cache in the original browser. If that does not help, try manually erasing just your eBay cookies in the original browser.

If you are doing this on your phone, see if eBay links are being opened in the eBay app; if so, make sure you have the latest version of the eBay app. If eBay browser links are opening in the app automatically, iOS users should be able to tap and hold an eBay browser link and select "don't open in the app" to prevent that from happening. Android users need to go to the device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Open supported links and select "don't open in the app".
