Hi guys,
I just recently purchased around 10 physical books all within a very short time frame from a very popular seller and was received a feedback for all 10 books immediately. The new feedbacks show up when clicking on my feedback tab but my feedback badge (where it shows how many feedbacks you have and possibly a star next to your username) did not update.
I had 10 beforehand and still have the same amount even after receiving all the feedback. It should show 20. I purchased a book a few weeks ago and it did update right away but just not now. Its been a few hours.
Is this normal when receiving this many at once? Should this appear eventually if I just give it enough time? Anyone else have this before? Just simply curious, thank you!!

Hey @suicune . The info box next to FB % explains how FB is calculated. Those 10 FB count individually toward your total received (see green box lower on screenshot), but count as only 1 towards your overall rating (see green box higher on screenshot) because the purchases were from the same seller in the same calendar week, based on eBay time zone.
If you make 2 purchases from the same seller throughout a calendar week Sun-Sat, and you get FB for both, it will count as 1 FB towards your total score.
If you make 2 purchases from the same seller, one on Saturday and one the next day on Sunday, that's split across 2 different calendar weeks so the FB would count as 2 towards your total score.

Feedbacks will show verbally what the seller left for you, but multiple feedbacks from the same seller are only counted once on your total feedback score, ( the # next to your star). 1 week has to go by before any
additional increases are added if left from the same seller.
Basically you get 1 feedback added per week from the same seller. 10-20 or 30 feedback will only count on your total as 1 if it is from the same seller.

If all items were paid together that is one feedback point. If you had paid for each item separately with no combined shipping that would be 10 feedback points. Took me a while to figure out why my buyers paid separately for each item with free shipping. Us sellers get hit with a .30 fee for each transaction.
You bought 10 items together so the seller got hit with a .30 transaction...not .30 X 10.
I think you were a very nice buyer....

I am not sure that is the case, I could be wrong but I currently have a buyer who has won a lot of my auctions, my shipping is free and he pays for each auction as they end. ( he does not combine them). his total count does not go up and also mine does not go up for each transaction. we both only get 1 added to each FB score count.
after a week has passed, he will get credit for any new purchases I leave feedback for....but only one is added per week to his total and mine.

It's not the feedbacks left...but the count. I had someone purchase 65+ single items for sale...My feedback score went up by one...not 65+.....but it only cost me .30 vs. .30 X 65+ per sale of a total order.
I always wondered why my feedback score didn't go up with multiple items purchased paying all with one price and not separately.
Most of your buyers only buy 1 or 2 items at a time.

I think we are saying the same thing, feedback score does not go up more than 1 with multiple purchases from the same buyer in a calendar week as stated by wastingtime 101.. thus my buyer and I only got 1 added to our score that week.
wastingtime101 post explains it in more detail. It is calendar week.

Correct...our feedback count for the month changes every week...and moves on to 6 months and then year.
