Loss of data is always the same but not determined by date or order of purchase. Multiple items are displayed correctly, then the next 1 or 2 or xx have loss of data. What gives?

You are most welcome.
Off the top of my head, I do not recall the exact format of the report or if there were choices. But I believe that it can be imported directly into Excel or another spreadsheet.

EDIT: my notes are still being correctly displayed.

My Purchase History seems to be displaying normally. I do not typically use notes, but I am able to save and display the notes I create.
Any difference with a page refresh? Or holding down the shift key and refreshing the page?
Do your orders appear on your Summary page? Or on ebay.ca?
What browser are you using? Have you tried another?

Per my edit, my notes are in fact showing up correctly. No difference with either variety of page refreshing. Orders show up corrupted on both Purchase History and Summary. Orders are also corrupt on Ebay.ca. Also corrupt on iphone using ebay app. Using Firefox, have not been able to try on different browser yet-next order.

You should be able to see thumbnails and links for items purchased in the last ninety days.
I do see some transactions older than ninety days that do not display a title, but very few. More do not display a thumbnail, but still have a title visible. Four transactions in 2021 appear to lack titles out of about a hundred transactions total, all the problematic transactions are from early October. Older transactions display titles, though several of those are missing thumbnails.
For items older than that, you may only see a title, and the link will likely not work, as eBay removes most listings after ninety days from ending. Some older multiple quantity listings may still appear if they are still in stock or were in stock in the last ninety days. Whether thumbnails appear may be a function of how the seller provided the links to the item photos -- whether they were hosted on eBay or not.
For transactions with no title showing, see if the order details link works. Thumbnails and titles may appear in the order details.
You may also be able to use the details that do appear (price, seller) to identify the item by cross referencing your feedback page, if you exchanged feedback.

I count in excess of 25 purchases in 2001 with lost data. What I would really like to know is Ebay concerned with my history data loss as this information is paramount to me and my organization. I am already hamstrung with the 3 year purchase history limit. Your biggest competitor has 5 years of purchase history available. I would hope Ebay will step up and make some positive changes. I believe it would be in Ebay's best interest.

The transaction data seems to be available, just not shown on the Purchase History page.
You can request a report of your eBay purchases and other basic data here:
https://www.sarweb.ebay.com/sar
It takes a week to generate and you must download the report within a week of it being made available, but it should have data going back to the start of your account.

Wow, thank you. This resource was unknown to me. Do you know what format the sent data will be in? Excel maybe?

Then why would they say they keep purchase items for 3 years?
04-16-2023 12:15 AM
Ya, ebay USED to keep 5 years of fairly accurate info, now... NO EBAY doesn't care.
Stuff is MIA, Pics, etc. missing. They also blew off my ability to leave feedback for a ton of times.
I can try and do a searches within the Purchase history, but over half the time it totally plays stupid.
It's awful now.
