I have been running a Buy 3, Get 1 Free and a Buy 2, Get 1 50% off Promotion for a few years that has yielded thousands in sales and multi-item orders. At some point in the last few weeks these promotions disappeared from thumbnails in the search results. I ended the promotions and created new ones and that didn't work. I called eBay and was told that I'm the only person reporting this problem so while a tech claim would be filed nobody would be looking into it unless more complaints are made.
I have done everything eBay has asked - free shipping, free returns, guaranteed delivery, I could go on. I feel I am being put at a very unfair disadvantage compared to other sellers who get their promos displayed on the search results page. My sales have plummeted and I have had absolutely no multi-item sales. The promo does display as a banner on the individual product page but that isn't helping if I'm not getting click-through to that page. I pay for a store and also promoted listings. I offer these discounts as well and cannot even market them. Customer service basically told me my problem isn't important enough to look into, so I thought I'd post here just in case anyone has any insight on how I can get my promos back in the search results. I could really use it for the upcoming holiday season. It is really unfair that ZERO of my 2,000+ items aren't displaying the promotion.
These are my items, note that no promotion is being displayed.

Hi @treasuredcharmsjewelry, some promotions may not appear in search results or at the top of a listing based on a variety of factors. You can increase your chance of your promotions being highlighted by offering valuable promotions to your potential customers. While we cannot go into detail about what would be considered valuable as this can vary based on the category and what other promotions are being offered for similar items. Check out the information on this page for more details on promotions.

Thank you for that information. I have read the guide and examples of "compelling offers". My offer has always displayed in the past. Competitors in the same category are offering 10% off $50, 10% off $99, or buy 4, get 1 free and showing in search results. I offer buy 3, get 1 free which is an overall average savings of $10 on a $40 purchase or a savings of 25%. I think that is a pretty great offer and so do my buyers. Too bad they can't see it now.

I just browsed the categories my listings are in and those who have offers that do display are buy 4, get 1 free and 5% off 2 items. No more compelling than mine, less actually. I created a new offer for 20% off 3+ items because eBay recommended it when I was creating an offer. I wonder if it will show up.
