Since Sunday my promoted listings impressions have dropped dramatically. I was getting 100,000+ impressions per day to since Sunday about 15,000 per day. I contacted ebay via chat and they said it was a glitch and my impressions were in fact NOT down but they were displaying that way because of a glitch. He gave me no more information than that but promised they would fix it. I'm not sure I'm buying that and it almost felt like he just wanted to get me off the line. Has anyone else been experiencing a drop in impressions like this? My organic impressions have remained steady and have actually surpassed my promoted impressions which has NEVER happened.

@goody.grabs - several sellers have seen this exact same thing across different categories at different times lately. @zamo-zuan had a very in depth thread going about it when it was hitting the Motors categories.
Unfortunately there hasn't been any real resolution or help from eBay as far as I have seen. Many sellers are finding that they have to increase their PL rates to get back to where they used to be as far as impressions. That is obviously not ideal and long term could lead eBay to price themselves out of the marketplace competition when sellers have to increase prices to compensate for increased ad rates.
I wish I had something more helpful to suggest for you, but at the very least, know you are not alone and many sellers have been thrown a curve ball lately with huge drops in Promoted Listings performance just like you are seeing.
