Promoted Listings Problem

You may want to check your traffic in your ebay seller hub. I check my daily and my promoted listing impressions are down 90% of my daily average for the past 6 months. This told me there was an issue and has been for Thursday 7/09 and Friday 7/10.

I called it in last night and not fixed yet. He stated he heard nothing about a promoted item problem and put in a ticket. This also has caused no sales in the last 7 hours when I average 55 items every 24 hours. So if something is off for you on ebay, check your traffic impressions.

Also noticed a new day high on page that error out with the it's not your fault it's ours page. Make sure to call your problems in.

10 hours into the day, zero promoted sales so the problem is worse today. When I cross check on ebay some of my items nothing is being promoted that I can see.

Called in again to double check but he could not tell me if the issue is being worked on.

I just lodged same problem. Since yesterday. Stated didn't know of this problem. Must be new. Obviously not. EBay are losing money not getting this problem resolved!

I can’t promote listings either. The message reads, “ there is nothing to show here.” I’ve never encountered this before. I see I’m not the only one.

Day three for me and still not fixed.

I noticed the issue on Saturday. It is Sunday evening and the issue of "internal service error" or a non stop loading screen are still persisting. I also get "there is nothing to show here."

Same is happening to me, has been for 4 days now.  Happens both on iPhone and laptop. Crazy thing is not only is this costing us the sellers “sales”, but also it is lost revenue for eBay. I keep hoping they’ll get this straightened out.

No fix, day four and also it took my 8 tries to upload new listing I had in draft. AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I am so freaking over all the issues on this site.

Haven't been able to promote for 10 days,message says," we ran into a problem,please try later,tech support says they are " working on it"

Day 5 of ebay trying to put me out of business. Worst day yet, only 5 promoted items sold (when I averaged about 20 in 2020), I still cannot find any of my promoted items on ebay. Best offer and check out is still and mess and I have lost many customers and a ton of money.

The only positive in my numbers is with facebook ad and my social media feed I have got my external site clicks up over 300 a day but it does no good when they cannot buy an item because ebay will not let them check out.

After 19 years of selling, this is the first time I have been really worried and it's 100% out of my control, which makes me angry that I put myself in this position to rely on ebay.

Customers not seeing product now (seeing lines), I've sold one item in 8 hours when I usually sell 50-60 items a day!!! It's a big big big mess!!!

I see lines when using Firefox or Chrome browsers on my Android phone.

Lines only appear when signed in to my account and searching when using the mobile browser version of the page.

If I change to "Classic Site" using the link at the bottom of the page, I am able to see search results. Also, if I request a desktop site version of the page, the results appear.

The eBay app does not appear to be affected, and searches appear OK.

if you can contact every customer that searches ebay and let them know, that would help. 🙂

Doing what I can to spread the word on the community boards -- unfortunately, just responding to all the posts about horizontal lines is already triggering the anti-spam bots and throttling my posts.

Day 6, still only selling 6 promoted items a day when I sold 20-25 every other day in 2020. Called it in again yesterday along with other site issues. Only 15% of my daily sales down from 60%, so much money being stripped from sellers. Called the issue in again yesterday along with other issues in my seller hub.
