How do i add a profile picture to my account. all the ways they say to do it doesn't work. I do not have a "Pencil" icon next to my picture (blue dot), how do i pl a profile picture to my account. all the ways they say to do it doesn't work. You need to use a desktop browser (or a mobile browser in desktop mode) and go to your profile page:

Use the "edit profile" link in the right side -- then you should see the pencil icon appear over your picture placeholder icon on the left side.
